Uma Shankar, his wife, children Arjun, Anjali and Akshaya lives in a house owned by Vana Sundari
mother of Uma Shanakr. Anjali is in love with Vinod and as the upstairs portion of her house is
vacant, she asks him to shift there. Vinod stays with his two other friends, Ashok and Rajkumar.
After they vacate the house they come to know that Vanasundari will not rent out the house to
bachelors. So they device a plan and Vinod tells Ashok to lie that he is married. Ashok pretends
to agree but tells Anjali's parents that Vinod is the married man. They then hire an artist Anita
to act as his wife, but as fate intervenes his friend's wife turns up and is mistaken for his wife.
The story revolves around mistaken identity, romance and cookery. Almost every episode will have a
recipe being cooked.The story will be treated in the lighter vein and will be the first of its kind cookery serial on Tamil Television.
