Madhubala is a story of Madhubala Rishabh Kundra (Drashti Dhami) who was born on a film set and has since then grown up in that environment.
Madhu is happy as a beautician but everything changes when she meets RK, a leading and successful superstar. RK forcefully marries Madhubala and starts hating her alot.
[clarification needed] Madhubala faces lots of difficulties but overcomes them. Slowly RK falls for Madhu and she starts to fall in love with him. She meets Sultan who tries to help her.
But he turns back on them and tries to separate RK and Madhu. He blackmails Madhu, telling her that if she does not divorce RK, he will kill RK. RK finds out the truth and RK & Madhu work together and kill Sultan.
But Sultan will come back later. He comes back and only Madhu knows about it, but somehow RK too comes to know it. RK plans a trap with help of Joshi and then go to Janamashtami celebration in Madhu's chawl.
There many dancers come dressed up as Madhu with same get up and make up. sultan comes there dressed as gwala. RK realizes it and further Joshi kills Sultan then they enter an entire romantic sequel.
